Iran short film ‘The Distance’ is to be screened at the Huesca Int’l Film Festival in Spain.

Iranian short film ‘The Distance’ has been set to go on screen at the 46th edition of the Huesca International Film Festival in Spain.

Directed by Yousef Kargar, ‘The Distance’ is to represent Iran at the Spanish film event.

Kargar's short flick narrates the story of a young man, Yashar, who wants to inform the family of his friend, Araz, about him. In contrast, Araz’s family give him an newer piece of news.

The flick has so far succeeded to attend the 62nd edition of the Cork Film Festival in Ireland and the 26th edition of Busan International Short Film Festival in South Korea.

The Huesca International Film Festival aims to promote cinematographic culture through short film by discovering innovative work in this field.

The 46th Huesca International Film Festival is slated for June 8-16, 2018, in the Spanish city.
